Hyderabad to host Chandra Sekhar memorial tennis tournament from December 20

The fourth annual D Chandra Sekhar Memorial Open tennis tournament will be held at Advantage Tennis Academy, Hyderabad, from December 20 to 21. Organised by DRC Sports Foundation, the event honours veteran coach Dasiga Chandra Sekhar and features competitions for men, women, and veterans

Hyderabad: The fourth annual D Chandra Sekhar Memorial Open tennis tournament, organised by DRC Sports Foundation, will be held at Advantage Tennis Academy (St Thomas High School, Safilguda) here from December 20 to 21.

The event is being held in honour of Dasiga Chandra Sekhar, a well-known NIS and ITF tennis coach with over 40 years of service to Indian tennis. His immense contributions as a player, coach, mentor, tournament official and founder of Advantage Tennis Academy continue to inspire generations.


Competitions will be held for men and women in singles and doubles, and also for veterans in the age groups of 30 years to 60 years. Doubles events will be conducted for players aged 70 years and above.
