Hyderabad to host India’s first-ever FIP Silver Padel championship

The Indian Padel Federation will host India’s first-ever FIP Silver Padel championship in Hyderabad from October 12 to 15, offering a record Rs 15 lakh prize pool. The event will feature top international players alongside India’s emerging padel talent

Hyderabad: The Indian Padel Federation (IPF) will host the first-ever FIP Silver Hyderabad 2025, a landmark event set to transform India’s sporting calendar. With a record prize pool of Rs 15,00,000, the highest ever for padel in India, the tournament will feature both men’s and women’s categories, showcasing international stars alongside India’s rising talent. The FIP Silver is part of the official International Padel Federation (FIP) tour.

The event will be held from October 12 to October 15 at the KPGBA, Hyderabad, which features three world-class MejorSet padel courts, recognized globally for quality and performance.

Speaking on the announcement, Ms Sneha Abraham Sehgal, IPF President, said:
“The FIP Silver Hyderabad represents a watershed moment for padel in India. With world-class infrastructure, top-ranked international players, and the highest prize pool in our country’s history, this tournament sets a new benchmark. It is not just a competition but the beginning of India’s journey as a global hub for padel.”

The tournament is powered by Radha TMT as Title Sponsor, underscoring strong corporate support for padel’s growth in India. The semifinals and final will be live streamed on FIP’s official YouTube channel and broadcast on Zoom TV (Times Group Network).
