Hyderabad: Hyderabad is set to witness a landmark cultural event as Archana Misra, Founder & Director of Naad Bhed – The Dance Studio, hosts a free and open-to-all Kathak workshop.

This workshop is organised as part of the 88th birth Anniversary celebrations of Dr Puru Dadhich, Natavari Kathak Nritya Academy, with the vision of Pratyush Dadhich to promote the beauty and richness of rare Kathak techniques from across India.

The sessions will be led by Dr Dyuti Pandya, Assistant Professor at Parul University, who will present the rare Kavitts composed by Dr Puru Dadhich and Pandit Sundarlal Ganganiji. An overwhelming response has already been received, with nearly 160 Kathak students and teachers from diverse institutions confirming participation.

The workshop will be held on June 13 at Naad Bhed Dance Studio, Jubilee Hills Branch, Mayabazar Block, Annapurna Studio. This will be a full-day workshop from 9 am to 5 pm.

To ensure effective learning, participants will be divided into three batches based on their experience: Beginners, Intermediate and Seniors. The event marks the largest-ever free Kathak workshop in Hyderabad, celebrating tradition while inspiring the next generation of dancers, a press release said.
