Hyderabad to host TB Awareness Walkathon 2026 at Sanjeevaiah Park
The New Age Pulmonologists Association will organise a TB Awareness Walkathon in Hyderabad on Sunday at Sanjeevaiah Park. The event aims to spread awareness about tuberculosis and promote a TB-free future, with participation from doctors and citizens

Hyderabad: In a move to create awareness on Tuberculosis (TB) among people, the New Age Pulmonologists Association is set to organise the TB Awareness Walkathon 2026 on Sunday.
The lakeside walkathon will be conducted from Sanjeevaiah Park at 6.30 am.
Apart from creating awareness on TB, the event aims to promote a TB-free future. A large number of doctors and citizens from various walks of life will take part in the event.
World Tuberculosis Day is observed on March 24 every year. This year, it is being observed with the theme ‘Yes! We can end TB’.
As per the World Health Organisation, 83 million lives have been saved since 2000. A staggering 10.7 million people fell ill with TB and 1.23 million died in 2024.
