Hyderabad to receive evening rains as IMD issues yellow alert for Telangana
Hyderabad is likely to witness moderate rains, thunderstorms and gusty winds on Thursday evening and night, according to the IMD. A yellow alert has been issued across Telangana, with heavy rainfall warnings for isolated places in four districts.
Hyderabad: Hyderabad skies will remain cloudy during the day, with moderate rains expected to lash the city in the evening and night on Thursday. Thunderstorms accompanied with gusty winds have also been forecast.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad, the city’s maximum temperature will be around 34 degree Celsius and 35 degree Celsius.
Across the State, the IMD has issued a yellow alert for June 25 and 26, with a warning of heavy rainfall at isolated places in Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda and Suryapet districts.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts.
