Hyderabad: Registration of pets will soon be a click away in the coming days as officials of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration (CDMA) are developing a mobile application for instant pet registration.
Urban Development Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar in a tweet said the online facility was likely to be introduced in February.
“We @GHMCOnline and @cdmatelangana also are in the process of finalising a mobile based v simple app where the owner can upload basic details & have an instant registration done. (focus being ease & convenience) We expect to introduce next month @KTRTRS @pfaindia @BlueCross,” he tweeted.

The GHMC has already shifted the entire process of pet registrations online and this mobile app will further ease the registration process of pet owners. Earlier, those who wished to register their pets had to physically visit the municipal office and the registration process was cumbersome.
