Hyderabad: Toddler falls to death from second floor balcony in Amberpet

An 18-month-old boy, Shreyansh, died after falling from the balcony of his family’s second-floor flat in Patel Nagar, Amberpet. Despite emergency care at a private hospital, he succumbed to injuries. Amberpet police are investigating the incident.

Hyderabad: Tragedy struck a family when an 18-month-old boy died after accidentally falling from the balcony of their second-floor apartment in Patel Nagar, Amberpet.

The toddler, identified as Shreyansh, was the younger son of Bolli Raju, a businessman who lives in a rented flat with his wife and two children.

According to the police, the incident occurred on Thursday evening when the child, while playing in the balcony, lost balance and fell from the building, sustaining multiple grievous injuries.

Family members and neighbours rushed him to a nearby private hospital, where doctors provided emergency care. However, despite efforts, the boy’s condition deteriorated, and he succumbed to his injuries on Friday.

The Amberpet police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall.
