Hyderabad: In view of the 81st All India Industrial Exhibition to be held at the Exhibition Ground in Nampally from February to March 31, the Hyderabad Police have placed certain traffic restrictions in the surroundings. The curbs will be in place from 4 pm to midnight every day, till the completion of the exhibition.
Accordingly, TSRTC district buses, private buses and heavy vehicles coming from Siddiamber Bazaar and Jambagh side towards Nampally will be diverted at MJ Market towards Abid Road.
Likewise, TSRTC buses, private buses and heavy vehicles proceeding from Police Control Room and Basheerbagh towards Nampally will be diverted at AR Petrol Pump and BJR Statue towards Abid Road.
Heavy and light goods vehicles from Begum Bazaar Chatri towards Malakunta, will be diverted at Alaska junction towards Darussalam and Ek Minar in Nampally. Officials said heavy and light goods vehicles from Darussalam (Goshamahal Road) towards Afzalgunj or Abid Road will be diverted at Alaska junction towards Begum Bazaar, City College and Nayapul.
Likewise, heavy and light goods vehicles including RTC buses from Moosa Bowli and Bahadurpura side towards Nampally, will be diverted at City College towards Nayapul and MJ Market.
The Hyderabad Traffic Police requested citizens to take alternate routes and avail public transport system like RTC buses and Metro Rail services to avoid traffic congestion and parking problems and cooperate.
