Hyderabad: Traffic cops told to brace for monsoon

Additional Commissioner of Police for Traffic, Anil Kuma rinstructed all officers to be prepared for the monsoon and to immediately clear the waterlogging spots in case of rain

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police are gearing up for the monsoon and to ensure that water-logging spots are cleared immediately in coordination with the GHMC for free flow of traffic.

Additional Commissioner of Police for Traffic Anil Kumar held a meeting with traffic officers at the Traffic Complex here and reviewed the half yearly performance and also the situation on Saturday. He instructed all officers to be prepared for the monsoon and to immediately clear the waterlogging spots in case of rain and to take measures in coordination with GHMC without causing inconvenience to the vehicular traffic.


He also instructed all officers that while conducting enforcement, utmost care should be taken, and directed them to be available on roads during peak hours.
