Hyderabad: In view of the flyover construction work under progress at Whisper Valley junction under progress, the traffic movement has been very slow from Tolichowki towards Gachibowli and from Bio-Diversity junction towards Mehdipatnam.
The construction work is permitted for a period of 21 days from December 7 to December 27 between 11 pm and 5 am.
Following this, the Cyberabad Traffic Police have placed certain restrictions and requested citizens to follow them.
Accordingly, traffic from Tolichowki towards Gachibowli will be diverted from Old Raidurgam towards OU colony, Jammichettu junction, Devagonaya Handlooms, Marrichettu junction, Lanco Hills and Khajaguda junction towards Gachibowli and the heavy vehicles from Tolichowki will be stopped and will be allowed in the morning hours only.
Likewise, vehicles from Gachibowli towards Tolichowki will be diverted from new HRDCL Road, Filmnagar Road, and JRC Convention, Whisper Valley junction towards Tolichowki.
Citizens were requested to take alternative roads to avoid congestion at Whisper Valley or Dargah junction and co-operate with the traffic police in ensuring free flow of traffic, officials said.
