Hyderabad traffic police book motorist for altered vehicle registration number

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police seized a Honda Activa with a tampered registration number plate during a special enforcement drive at Afzalgunj T-Junction on Monday.
The vehicle’s original registration number had been altered. The rider, Teja (22), a resident of Mir Alam Mandi, Meerchowk, was detained, and legal action has been initiated under relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.
Police warned motorists against tampering with registration plates, stating that strict enforcement will continue.
