Hyderabad traffic police conducts road safety awareness program for TGSRTC bus drivers

A total of 50 RTC drivers were made aware on road accidents and prevention through a power point presentation.

Hyderabad: An awareness program on traffic rules and road safety was organsied by the Hyderabad Traffic Police for the TGSRTC bus drivers from Chengicherla depot at Jubilee Bus Station on Friday.

A total of 50 RTC drivers were made aware on road accidents and prevention through a power point presentation.


Speaking on the occasion, G Shankar Raju, ACP (Traffic), North Zone said that traveling in an RTC bus was safer compared to other vehicles.

“The lives of about 40 to 50 passengers in a bus are in the hands of a driver. So, the driver should always drive the bus carefully and take the passengers to their destinations safely,” he said.

Senior RTC and police officials were present.
