Hyderabad traffic police nab 464 for drunk driving in weekend checks

Hyderabad Traffic Police booked 464 people during weekend drunk-driving checks, with most offenders being two-wheeler riders. Four individuals recorded very high BAC levels. All accused will be produced in court as part of strict enforcement measures.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad traffic police, during weekend drunk driving checks in the city, caught 464 persons on Saturday night. Cases are booked against them.

Among those caught are 408 two-wheeler riders, 30 three-wheeler drivers and 26 four-wheeler drivers. The BAC level of four persons was found to be above 300mg/100 ml. All the persons will be produced before the court for further action.
