Hyderabad: Traffic restrictions on Lakdikapul Road for one month due to drain work
Hyderabad Traffic Police will enforce nighttime restrictions on Lakdikapul Road from 11 pm to 5 am for one month, beginning Wednesday. The closure supports stormwater drain construction. Diversions have been announced and commuters are advised to take alternative routes
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police have imposed nighttime traffic restrictions on Lakdikapul Road between 11 pm and 5 am due to the construction of a stormwater drain at Lakdikapul junction. The restrictions will take effect from Wednesday night and remain in force for one month.
The construction will span a total distance of 180 metres, starting from the Intelligence Office to Dwaraka Hotel, passing by Lucky Restaurant and Venkateshwara Hotel (Old PS Saifabad Junction).
Traffic from Nirankari towards Iqbal Minar will be diverted via Ravindra Bharathi. Vehicles moving from Ravindra Bharathi to Old PS Saifabad will be diverted at Iqbal Minar towards Secretariat Junction. Similarly, traffic from Secretariat Junction to Old PS Saifabad will be redirected at Iqbal Minar towards Ravindra Bharathi.
The traffic police have advised commuters to use alternative routes during the restricted hours and requested public cooperation in following the advisory.
