Hyderabad: Transgender persons caught for public nuisance

Anti-Human Trafficking Unit along with Meerpet police form special teams, raid several hotspots

Hyderabad: The Meerpet police caught seven transgender persons on charges of creating public nuisance at various public spots across the police station limits on Thursday night.

The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU), along with officials from the local police station formed special teams and raided several hotspots including RCI Road, Mandamallamma X road and caught transgender persons who allegedly were exposing their bodies and making obscene gestures in public and creating nuisance.
