Hyderabad: Mamatha’s unbeaten 86, along with stellar bowling performances from Yashasri and M Sakshi Rao, who took four wickets each, powered Hyderabad to a narrow 14-run win over Mumbai in Round 4 of the Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy at Ahmedabad on Tuesday.
Riding on Mamatha’s unbeaten knock, Hyderabad posted a competitive total of 243/6 in 50 overs. Despite valiant efforts from Vrushali Bhagat, who scored 82, and Khushi, with an unbeaten 52, Mumbai fell short as Yashasri (4/49) and M Sakshi Rao (4/42) combined effectively to secure the victory for Hyderabad.
