Hyderabad: TRSMA seeks action against harassment of private schools
The Telangana Recognised School Managements Association urged the Malkajgiri Police Commissioner to act against individuals allegedly harassing private schools. The association claimed some people were extorting money and creating trouble, while police assured strict action on verified complaints.
Hyderabad: Telangana Recognised School Managements Association (TRSMA) on Wednesday urged Malkajgiri Police Commissioner B Sumathi to initiate action against individuals allegedly harassing private schools.
In a representation submitted to the Commissioner, TRSMA president SN Reddy and associate president Rameshwar Reddy said some people, under the guise of student organisations, caste-based groups and RTI activists, were targeting private school managements.
The TRSMA claimed that such individuals were extorting money from private schools besides creating unnecessary trouble. It also said a case had recently been registered against such persons in Uppal.
The Malkajgiri Police Commissioner, according to the TRSMA, assured that stringent action would be initiated against individuals involved in the alleged extortion or harassment of private school managements. She advised schools not to tolerate any form of harassment and to immediately contact the police besides filing a complaint.
