Hyderabad: One person was injured after a concrete mixer truck went out of control and crashed into a Metro Rail pillar at Mettuguda around midnight on Friday.

The incident occurred when vehicle was proceeding from Tarnaka towards Secunderabad.

When the truck reached Mettuguda, the driver lost control of the steering wheel and crashed into the pillar. The truck then turned over.

The incident led to a traffic jam on the busy road. The Lalaguda police are investigating.
