Hyderabad: A lorry driver, who was attacked by a group of persons at Moinabad last week after an accident, died while undergoing treatment on Monday night.

Syed Yousuf (60), a resident of Langer Houz, was driving his lorry on Moinabad road on January 19, when the vehicle brushed against a car at Aziznagar junction. “The driver of the car, Yadagiri, along with three others, chased the truck and stopped it. Later, all the persons pulled out the driver and beat him resulting in injuries. He was shifted to hospital where he died while undergoing treatment,” said Moinabad police. A case was booked against the four persons and all of them were arrested.
