Hyderabad: In a freak mishap, a TSRTC bus lost control and hit an electric pole at Sir Ronald Ross Institute of Parasitology in Nallakunta here on Friday afternoon. The bus from Kachiguda depot was reportedly carrying about 10 passengers at the time of mishap. None of them were hurt, but the electric pole was slightly damaged.

The driver of the bus, proceeding from Secunderabad towards Afzalgunj, lost control of the vehicle when it reached Nallakunta and crashed into the electric pole on the right side. The Nallakunta police reached the spot immediately and removed the bus with the help of a crane, and cleared the traffic. They said a brake failure is suspected to have led to the mishap.
