Hyderabad: The city turned pink with junctions, main roads and streets decked up with TRS flags and flexies in the run up to the party plenary session on Monday. Major roads and crossroads, especially in the western parts of the city, are sporting pink buntings and flexies with TRS party leaders showcasing the TRS government’s achievements in the last few years.

After the plenary in 2018, the TRS party plenary is being held again in the city at Hitex Convention Centre, Madhapur on Monday, after a gap of three years. Elected public representatives, including Corporators, MLAs, MLCs, MPs and TRS leaders put up posters in different crossroads in Madhapur, Jubilee Hills, Khairatabad and Banjara Hills.

The task to decorate and set up welcome posters and banners was assigned to city MLAs by the party. Arrangements at the venue are being monitored by Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi, Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath, TSIIC chairman Gyadari Balamallu, Civil Supplies Corporation chairman M Srinivas Reddy and former Mayor Bonthu Rammohan.

Meanwhile, in view of the TRS plenary, Cyberabad traffic has imposed few traffic diversions on the routes leading to the venue. Motorists have been requested to avoid the roads heading towards Hitex as there could be heavy vehicular traffic.
