Hyderabad: Two arrested for stabbing man to death in Attapur
Attapur police arrested two Kishanbagh residents for stabbing a man to death at Arshmahal. The accused allegedly killed Saif Ahmed Khan to avenge an insult three months ago. The victim died while undergoing treatment at Osmania General Hospital
Hyderabad: The Attapur police arrested two persons who allegedly stabbed a man to death on Wednesday night.
The arrested were identified as Mohammed Saifuddin alias Faizan (24) and Mohammad Zabi (19), both residents of Kishanbagh. The victim, Saif Ahmed Khan (23), also a resident of Kishanbagh, was stabbed to death at Arshmahal.
According to the police, Saif Ahmed had allegedly abused the mother of the prime suspect Faizan and also beaten him over a minor issue about three months ago.
“To avenge the insult, Faizan planned to eliminate Saif Ahmed. He took the help of his friend Zabi. Both confronted the victim on Wednesday night and stabbed him,” said T Srinivas, ACP Rajendranagar.
The injured was shifted to Osmania General Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
