Hyderabad: The Mailardevpally police on Tuesday arrested two persons on charges of stealing Rs 11 lakh from a trader in the last week of October. Police recovered Rs 11 lakh, a car and other material, all together worth Rs 15 lakh.
The arrested persons were M Shiva Karnakar Reddy (27), a driver from Rajendranagar and Ch Mallesh (28), a private employee from Miyapur. Police said Reddy, who was working as driver for the last six months for Vipin Goyal, a battery trader, fled with the cash that was handed over to him for business purposes. Mallesh helped him in fleeing with the money. They were arrested at Tirupati and brought to Hyderabad, where they were produced before court.
