Hyderabad: Two arrested in Falaknuma for possessing country-made pistol
The Central Crime Station and local police arrested two fruit vendors in Falaknuma for possessing a country-made pistol, allegedly bought to sell for profit. A third suspect is absconding. Police seized a pistol and two mobile phones

Hyderabad: The Central Crime Station officials, along with the local police, arrested two persons on Wednesday for allegedly possessing a country-made pistol in Falaknuma.
The arrested duo, Vijay Yadav (25) of Lingampalli and Bunty Kumar Yadav (22) of Santosh Nagar, work as fruit vendors. Another suspect, Sonu Kumar from Bihar, remains absconding.
Police said Vijay purchased the pistol three months ago from a source in Bihar for Rs 58,000, intending to sell it at a higher rate for profit. The duo allegedly tried to sell the weapon to anti-social elements by sharing pictures.
A pistol and two mobile phones were seized.
The arrested persons and the seized material were handed over to Falaknuma police for further action.
