Hyderabad: The LB Nagar Central Crime Station police along with the Chaitanyapuri police on Monday nabbed two Rajasthan natives, both from Rajasthan, allegedly involved in half a dozen burglaries in the house of Rajasthan natives settled here. Police recovered cash, gold, gadgets and a bike, all together worth Rs 14.3 lakh from them.
The arrested persons were Kishore Chowdhary alias Rahul (30), a carpenter and Arjun Singh (23), both residents of Maithri Nagar in LB Nagar. Police said they were involved in cases at Chaitanyapuri, Vanasthalipuram, Meerpet, Adibatla and LB Nagar, apart from one futile attempt to steal cash from an ATM.
According to the police, Rahul had a hardware shop which ran into losses due to the pandemic, and began committing burglaries in houses of Rajasthani businessmen. He was allegedly helped by his friend Arjun Singh. “They identified people from Rajasthan and broke into their houses only,” police said.
