Hyderabad: Two held with country-made firearms, 5 tapanchas and 18 live rounds seized

The accused have been identified as Mohammed Zeeshan and Mohammed Amir, residents of Rakshapuram and natives of Uttar Pradesh.

Hyderabad: The Balapur police arrested two persons who were illegally possessing five country made tapanchas and seized 18 live rounds from their possession.

The arrested are Mohammed Zeeshan and Mohammed Amir, both residing at Rakshapuram and natives of Uttar Pradesh.

According to the police, Zeeshan and Amir had purchased the weapons in Uttar Pradesh and brought it to the city to sell it at a higher price to customers. On information, the Special Operations Team along with Balapur police caught them.

The police produced the duo before the court and remanded them.
