Hyderabad: Two juveniles among four arrested for brutal killing in Jubilee Hills
Raidurgam police arrested four suspects, including two juveniles, for the murder of 24-year-old CCTV technician Saurabh Kumar. After a failed robbery near Jubilee Hills, the attackers tracked and brutally assaulted him near FDDI College. The case is under investigation
Hyderabad: The Raidurgam Police arrested four persons, including two juveniles, on Monday for the murder of Saurabh Kumar (24), a CCTV technician who was fatally assaulted and robbed earlier this month.
According to police, the suspects – Mohd Rehaan (19), Mohd Ibrahim Ahmed (19), and two juveniles were roaming in Hitec City, Gachibowli and Raidurgam on bikes with the intention to commit robbery.
They intercepted Saurabh Kumar near Jubilee Hills after offering him a lift and attempted to snatch his mobile phone. When their attempt failed and the victim resisted, they fled the spot.
“Angered by the scuffle, the suspects regrouped, armed themselves with centering sticks from an under-construction site, and tracked the victim. They attacked him near FDDI College, brutally assaulting him and robbing his mobile phone,” police said, adding that he succumbed to injuries later in the hospital.
The Raidurgam police are investigating.
