Hyderabad: The Monda Market police arrested a two member interstate attention diversion gang and seized seven tolas of gold ornaments from them.
The arrested persons were Govind Manoj Yadav (27) and Kannaiah Kishan Salunki (51), while one of their accomplices, Ashok Suresh Jadav (44), was absconding.
According to the police, on February 28, the two met a woman at Market road and after brief interaction on the pretext of helping her, diverted her attention and stole her gold ornaments.
“The two were identified with the help of surveillance camera footagem” DCP (North) Chandana Deepthi said.
