Hyderabad: Two Punjab students held for allegedly peddling drugs

Excise State Task Force officials arrested two students from Punjab for allegedly peddling drugs in Hyderabad. The suspects were caught in Uppal with 9.6 grams of OG Kush and 14 grams of MDMA, collectively valued at around Rs 2.40 lakh.

Hyderabad: Two students studying in Punjab were arrested by the Excise State Task Force Team for allegedly peddling drugs in Hyderabad.

The suspects identified as Deverakonda Vidyashree of Anantapur and Koduru Vishnuvardhan Reddy of Hyderabad, allegedly became addicted to drugs while studying in Punjab and began bringing narcotics to Hyderabad to fund their habit.

The duo was caught in Saraswathi Colony, Uppal, with 9.6 grams of OG Kush and 14 grams of MDMA, worth around Rs 2.40 lakh.

They were handed over to Uppal Excise Station for further investigation into the drug supply network.
