Hyderabad: Two robberies reported at KPHB colony
Two robberies occurred at KPHB Colony on Wednesday night, with four miscreants stealing gold and phones from two victims.
Hyderabad: Two incidents of robberies were reported at KPHB colony in the city on Wednesday late night.
In the first case, four miscreants on two motorcycles looted a man at KPHB colony brand factory road, after threatening him with knives. The man Arun Rao, a resident of Jagathgirigutta, was going on a motorcycle when the robbers waylaid him and snatched away his gold chain weighing 1.5 tolas and a mobile phone before escaping.
A few hours, later, a private employee Naresh was stopped by the gang on the same stretch and robbed of his mobile phone.
The KPHB police registered two cases and started investigation. “Special teams are formed to identify and nab the offenders,” said KPHB Detective Inspector, Ravi Kumar.
