Hyderabad: Two students of a private engineering college were killed while one was injured in an accident at Sagar Road in Vanasthalipuram on Wednesday evening.

According to the police, the incident occurred when the youngsters — Rohit Reddy, Vishal and Gautam — all students of an engineering college in the city, were going on a motorcycle when they were hit by a truck carrying a borewell drilling machine. While Rohith Reddy and Vishal died on the spot, Gautam, who was injured seriously, was rushed to hospital.

The Vanasthalipuram police shifted the bodies to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary. Police officials have registered a case and are investigating.
