Hyderabad: Two workers cleaning septic tank die of asphyxiation

A total of three workers of a private septic tank cleaning company went to an apartment to clean the septic tank on a complaint from the building occupants.

Hyderabad: Two persons who were cleaning a septic tank at Kondapur in Gachibowli died of asphyxiation on Sunday morning.

A total of three workers of a private septic tank cleaning company went to an apartment to clean the septic tank on a complaint from the building occupants.

When one of them who went inside the tank to clean fell unconsicious, the other person also rushed to his rescue but went unconscious. 

On information the fire service personnel and local police rushed to the spot and after sometime pulled the bodies out.

The bodies were shifted to Osmania General Hospital mortuary. Both the victims are identified as residents of Singareni colony in Saidabad.The police booked a case.More details awaited.
