Hyderabad: Two youths killed in road accident in Ghatkesar

As per available information, the victims were travelling in the car towards Ghatkesar when the mishap occurred. On reaching Edulabad, Bhargav Yadav who was reportedly behind the wheel lost control of it and went on to crash into the electric pole

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, two youths were killed and another was seriously injured after the car they were traveling went out of control and crashed into an electric pole at Edulabad in Ghatkesar on city outskirts on Saturday early hours. A rash and negligent driving is suspected to the reason for the accident.

As per available information, the victims Bhargav Yadav, Varshit along with their friends Praveen and Dinesh were travelling in the car towards Ghatkesar when the mishap occurred.


On reaching Edulabad, Bhargav Yadav who was reportedly behind the wheel lost control of it and went on to crash into the electric pole.

While Bhargav Yadav and Varshith suffered grievous bleeding injuries and died on the spot, others were injured. Dinesh’s health condition is said to be critical.

Preliminary investigation indicated that the youths were returning from a party at a resort. The Ghatkesar police are investigating if a drunken driving led to the mishap.
