Hyderabad: Property was gutted down when fire broke out at a tyre repair shop at Madhapur on Sunday afternoon.
According to the fire officials, the fire started at a car repair shop where old motor parts and tyres were kept. The local people noticed thick smoke billowing from the place and informed the local police who alerted the fire personnel.
Fire tenders from the nearby Madhapur fire station rushed to the spot and doused the flames. Fire officials suspect that the fire might have started due to short circuit.
As a precautionary measure the police had cordoned off the area to prevent people from going near the place when the fire fighting operations were going on.
