Hyderabad: Unidentified man found dead on railway tracks near Ghatkesar

An unidentified man, believed to be in his fifties, was found dead under suspicious circumstances on railway tracks between Ghatkesar and Bibinagar. The GRP suspects he either fell from a train or was run over. Investigation is ongoing.

Hyderabad: An unidentified man was found dead under suspicious circumstances on the railway tracks between Ghatkesar and Bibinagar on Wednesday.

The Government Railway Police (GRP) suspect that he could have either accidentally fallen from a running train or died or was mowed by any train when either crossing or passing by the railway track.
According to the GRP, the victim, suspected to be aged in his fifties, was either crossing the tracks or fell from a running train, grieviously injured and died on the spot.


His body was thrown away at a distance from the mishap spot, police suspect.

The Secunderabad Government Railway Police booked a case and shifted the body to the Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy. Efforts are on to identify the victim.
