Hyderabad: Unidentified man’s body found in Thurka Cheruvu in Nizampet
An unidentified man’s body was found in Thurka Cheruvu at Nizampet on Tuesday night. Police retrieved the body and sent it for autopsy. A case has been registered, and missing person records are being checked to establish the man’s identity.
Hyderabad: The body of an unidentified man was found floating in the Thurka Cheruvu in Nizampet on Tuesday night.
Police said it was yet to be known if it was a suicide or an accident.
According to the police, the locals noticed the body floating in the lake and alerted the police. The Bachupally police with the help of expert swimmers retrieved the body from the lake and shifted to the Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy.
A case has been booked and officials said efforts were on to identify the man.
Recent missing cases registered in local police stations were being verified.
