Hyderabad: Union Bank of India, Hyderabad zone and its regional offices celebrated Hindi Utsav-2021 on Friday.
The programme was presided by Kabir Bhattacharya, field general manager, Hyderabad and was attended by the executives of zonal office, regional heads of Punjagutta, Koti,
Saifabad and Secunderabad, along with their staff members, a press release said.
In his address, Mr Bhattacharya said Hindi was adopted as the Official Language of the Union on 14 September, 1949 by the Constituent Assembly and in commemoration of the same, the bank every year celebrates Hindi Fortnight on the occasion of Hindi Day.
