Hyderabad: Union Bank of India conducted a special meeting for bank’s customers and the general public in the industrial development area of Mallapur, Nacharam, Uppal, Habsiguda, Tarnaka, Boduppal and Peerzadiguda here on Tuesday.

Kabir Bhattacharya, field general manager, Hyderabad, said MSME is an important sector of the Indian economy, contributing significantly to its growth.


“It is a vibrant sector producing a diverse range of products and services. It is one of the chosen areas for Union Bank of India, and hence, the bank is playing a pivotal role in financing MSMEs since the beginning,” Bhattacharya said.

S Srinivas, head, Secunderabad region, said the bank has a well-established set of SARALS i.e., special branches dedicated for focusing on the mobilisation of MSME advances.

AGM UV Rajanikanth, Deputy RH KV Chandrasekhara Rao and others took part in the meeting.
