Hyderabad: Union Bank of India organises workshop on Womens’ Day

Hyderabad: The Union Bank of India, Secunderabad Region organised a special workshop on the occasion of International Womens’ Day.
The programme was inaugurated by the bank’s Regional Head S Srinivas and Deputy Regional Head S Prakash Rao by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Dr Suman Latha, eminent educationist and researcher was the chief guest while retired DGM K. Rajendra Kumar was the special guest for the event.
In his inaugural speech, S Srinivas said women were inherently strong and multifaceted personalities. They were capable of meticulous planning and achieving results in any situation, he added. Prakash Rao also appreciated the efforts of the women staff members and said every woman should strive to achieve great professional heights.
Dr Suman Latha, who has been associated with All India Radio and Doordarshan, said as a mother, women need to develop a strong personality in their children, which would further shape the society. Gayathri Ravikiran, Senior Manager, Rajbhasha, also spoke, according to a press release.
