Hyderabad: In a move to enhance emergency preparedness, ASPIRE at the University of Hyderabad (UoH) organized a fire safety awareness session and mock drill on campus on Thursday.

The session included a presentation on fire hazards, safety equipment, mitigation strategies, and evacuation procedures. Participants also received hands-on training in the proper use of fire extinguishers and emergency tools through a live demonstration.

The active participation of start-up teams underscored a collective culture of responsibility and safety awareness. “Safety is a shared responsibility,” said a representative from ASPIRE.

The initiative highlights the importance of proactive safety training within innovation hubs. ASPIRE remains committed to integrating regular safety drills, awareness programs, and emergency response training into its incubation framework, a press release stated.
