Hyderabad: UP native arrested for murder
Accused Mohd Yousuf was reportedly enraged on being harassed by Mohd Abdul Aziz; on the pretext of giving gold, he stabbed Aziz to death at a secluded place
Hyderabad: The Chandrayangutta police on Monday arrested a man for allegedly murdering a person at Balapur on Friday night due to personal issues.
The arrested person, Mohd Yousuf (18), a resident of Kanchanbagh and a native of Uttar Pradesh, was acquainted with the victim, Mohd Abdul Aziz, for several years.
However, for the last few months, Aziz was allegedly harassing Yousuf, demanding money and other things. “Enraged over the harassment, Yousuf called Aziz to a secluded place on the pretext of giving gold and stabbed him with a knife leading to his death,” said Chandrayangutta ACP A Sudhakar.
Yousuf was produced before the court and remanded.
