Hyderabad: Allegedly upset after his mother scolded him for spending more time out of the house and with friends, a man died by suicide in his house at Harijan Basti in Ameerpet on Monday.
A.Kranthi Kumar (27), often went on trips with his friends and during that time, he did not call back home or responded to his mother’s phone calls.
According to the police, Kranthi’s mother recently warned him to change his behaviour and they were having frequent arguments since then.
Kranthi then spent most of his time alone and stopped going out with friends too. He reportedly was depressed for the last few days and on Monday, he hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his room and ended his life.
The SR Nagar police are investigating.
