Hyderabad: Upset man ends life on railway tracks

A 42-year-old man from Rajanna Sircilla district died by suicide near Hyderabad’s Ghatkesar by jumping in front of a train. He was reportedly troubled by financial issues. GRP has registered a case and is investigating the circumstances

Hyderabad: Upset over financial problems, a 42-year-old man allegedly died by suicide by jumping in front of a speeding train at Ghatkesar on the city outskirts on Tuesday evening.

The man, identified as Srinivas Sande from Boyinpally in Rajanna Sircilla district, was reportedly distressed due to mounting debts. He is survived by his wife and a son.


According to the Government Railway Police, Srinivas jumped in front of the Visakhapatnam Express on the tracks between Ghatkesar and Bibinagar railway stations.

GRP officials have registered a case and are investigating.

The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for autopsy.
