Hyderabad: Allegedly upset over losing his job, a former worker of the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), died by suicide in Hydershakote, Narsingi on Tuesday.
Y.Shyam (45), a water pump operator, recently lost his job after working for 13 years in NIMS. Since then, he had been upset and also took to alcohol.
On Monday night, the family had dinner together and Shyam went off to sleep. When his wife woke up at 5 am on Tuesday, Shyam was found hanging from the ceiling fan in the kitchen.
The Narsingi police are investigating.
