Hyderabad: A major electrical mishap occurred when a transformer reportedly exploded due to a heavy load, triggering a fire that quickly spread to nearby vehicles at Marthanda Nagar in Hafeezpet, Miyapur, on Monday midnight.
According to available information, a Tata Ace mini truck and two motorcycles parked close to the transformer were completely gutted in the blaze.
Fire department personnel rushed to the scene and managed to douse the flames in time, preventing any casualties.
The incident caused panic among local residents for some time.
