Hyderabad Vigyanshaala International conducts ‘She for Stem’ mentoring program

During the visit, students had the opportunity to interact with professors and engage in hands-on experiments in Mechanobiology, Computational Chemistry, and Nano Fabrication laboratories

Hyderabad: Vigyanshaala International conducted ‘She for Stem’ career readiness and mentoring program at Telangana Social and Tribal Welfare Women’s Degree College. As part of the initiative, top-performing students were selected from the program’s initial stages to participate in an educational field visit to the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR).

During the visit, students had the opportunity to interact with professors and engage in hands-on experiments in Mechanobiology, Computational Chemistry, and Nano Fabrication laboratories. Prof. M. Krishnamurthy, Director of TIFR Hyderabad, addressed the students, encouraging them to pursue advanced degrees, internships, and summer fellowships at TIFR.

TSWREIS Secretary, Dr. Alagu Varsini, and TTWREIS Secretary, Seethalakshmi, appreciated the students for their participation in the program. Founders of Vigyanshaala International, Dr. Darshana Joshi and Marie Curie scientist Vijay Venugopal, shared their vision of organizing additional exposure visits and motivating young women to pursue careers as scientists and innovators.
