Hyderabad wakes up to cooler temperatures

Hyderabad: Overnight rains have brought down temperatures across Telangana and sunshine is expected for a brief period only after Friday afternoon.
Between Thursday night and early hours of Friday, the State received good amount of rainfall, real-time weather data from Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) indicated.
As for Friday, scattered to heavy downpours at different locations are expected towards evening and late night in Hyderabad. In districts, however, severe thunderstorms is expected to remain active during day time, weather enthusiast T Balaji on platform X posted.
In the city, Langar Houz received maximum rainfall of 58 mm followed by Rajendranagar, which received 57.3 mm of rainfall. The Setwin Training Centre in Bahadurpura received 46 mm of rainfall, Kishanbagh Government High SChool, Bahadurpura received 43 mm of rainfall, Gayatri Nagar in Quthbullapur received 41.5 mm, Shaikpet received 34.5 mm, South Hastinapuram, LB Nagar received 31.3 mm, new Mettuguda Primary School, Marredpally mandal received 31. 8 mm, Kakatiya Hills, Madhapur, Serilingampally received 30.8 mm and ESS Qutbullapur received 30 mm. The rainfall in other regions of Hyderabad ranged between 10 mm and 30 mm, TSDPS data said.
