Hyderabad: Telangana State Wakf Board chairman Mohammed Saleem along with officials of the board and other departments visited the Eidgah Mir Alam and reviewed the arrangements made for Eid ul Adha prayers.
Saleem, interacting with the media, said the board was making all preparations for smooth conduct of the prayers and measures were being taken to ensure social distancing. He appealed to the people attending prayers to wear masks and to maintain social distance. AIMIM legislator Mohd Moazam Khan accompanied him.
The prayers were not held at the Eidgah last year during both the Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha festivals due to Covid-19 pandemic. Eid ul Fitr prayers were not held this year too due to the second wave of Covid.
