Hyderabad: Wall of Shiva Ganga theatre collapses, 50 vehicles damaged

Asian Shiva Ganga Theatre at Gaddiannaram in Dilsukhnagar was flooded with rainwater which led to the collapse of a compound wall. Almost 50 parked vehicles were damaged in the mishap.

Hyderabad: Heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds and thunder lashed parts of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Medchal-Malkajgiri and Rangareddy districts on Friday evening. As for the area-wise rainfall, Saroornagar recorded the highest rainfall of 10.6 cm, followed by Saidabad.

More rains are expected to lash Hyderabad and surrounding areas on Saturday, particularly in the afternoon and in the evening. The civic body has kept its staff on high alert and urged citizens also to be on an alert.
