Hyderabad: Warehouse in Bahadurpura gutted in midnight blaze
According to Fire officials, the fire broke out at around 12.30 am in the warehouse located on the Bahadurpura main road and rapidly spread. A lot of combustible material stored in the premises helped the blaze rage.
Hyderabad: Property worth lakhs of rupees was gutted in a massive fire that broke out in a warehouse at Bahadurpura after midnight on Friday. No casualties were reported in the incident.
According to Fire officials, the fire broke out at around 12.30 am in the warehouse located on the Bahadurpura main road and rapidly spread. A lot of combustible material stored in the premises helped the blaze rage.
The Bahadurpura police reached the spot and alerted the fire control room. Two fire tenders from Gowliguda and Chandulal Baradari were rushed to the spot initially to put out the fire. However as the severity of the fire was more, more fire tenders had to be brought in.
It took almost three hours for the firemen to bring the fire under control. The officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
